A Message from Pastor Ron
Dear friends,
As we begin the New Year, we focus for a few weeks on the story of the Three Wise Men coming to Bethlehem. The gifts they brought are so often sung about in the Christmas Carols that they go right past us in their meaning. It is worth remembering that gold, frankincense and myrrh each have symbolic meanings. Gold is to remind us that Jesus is king, frankincense speaks of the divinity of Jesus, and myrrh is symbolic of the humanity of Jesus.
In the time of the Bible, all three were also very rare so they made wonderful gifts, as well as being used by God to get the message to everyone about who Jesus was and is.
As you and I begin 2009, may we grow together in depth of faith in our Savior who continues to be amazing, as He comes to us in so many places and so many ways. Come and worship with us as together we open our hearts and our lives to His presence and His love.
Peace,

Pastor Ron Prasek, Senior Pastor
