Word of Peace BeFriender Ministry

 

 

Are you lonely? Need someone to talk to? Maybe you just lost your job, lost a loved one or you’re struggling as a single parent with no one to share your struggles? Maybe a BeFriender is what you need.


The BeFriender Ministry is designed to provide a listening presence to people who are sick, mourning, recently divorced, lonely, struggling with an elderly parent or spouse with Alzheimer’s.


We all have a ‘story’ and there are times when we all need someone. Someone who will listen to us, as we sort out our life. Someone who is non-judgmental and can help us see ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’. There’s nothing to be ashamed of to want someone to talk to.


The Word of Peace BeFriender Ministry is here for you. Trained people are available to be your friend, listen to ‘your story’ and to give you a supportive ear as you find solutions.

Food Donations to C.R.O.S.S.

Every month we collect selected items to deliver to our local area food self.  Such items needed are large Juicy juice, canned meat, ketchup, oatmeal, kidney beans, and bar soap. Please drop off your items in the ARK located in the Gathering Area.
