We direct these petitions to

our dear Father in heaven

during this month:

Dear Lord, We pray:

  1. For Your presence with Kairos, our Capital Fund Drive consulting firm, who meet and plan for the fundraising of our building project.
  2. For Your blessings on the Mothers of Preschoolers group, that they experience joy with their children; may each child gain in social skills and friendships at church.
  3. For the Executive Committee to our Church Council, that they have good ideas and good skills in the leadership of our congregation.
  4. That the Women's Retreat will be a wonderful and enriching experience for those in attendance.  Please be with the speaker and help her to be an inspiration to all.
  5. For Your loving presence with the New Member Class as hey meet.  May these people feel a welcoming presence and come to know and understand Your Word.
  6. That those who come to the Healing Services will feel Your Hand upon them and will uplift them in body, mind, and soul.
  7. That you will be with those who bring their children to the Baptism Class.  May each child who is presented to You always walk in Your Light and love.
  8. For wisdom and insight for the Endowment Committee to inspire members of Word of Peace, so that contributions grow in the funds set aside for scholarships.
  9. For those who are working to present beautiful music in the bell choirs.
  10. For area seniors, that they would give the Senior Wellness Group a try as Dave leads in exercises to improve balance and strength.
  11. For peace in our world and safety for all military, that they will feel lifted up by our prayers.
  12. For prospective new members, that they will feel called and included at Word of Peace.
  13. For the piano students at their recital today.  Give them feelings of calm and empowerment as they present their selections.  Bless their fingers!
  14. For the 912 groups of teenagers, that they will be strengthened by their support for each other to deal with this complicated world in which they live.
  15. For helping and inspiring the BeFrienders, who have completed their training.  Also bless them as they serve others in our community.
  16. For the people who attend the services at the Wellstead, that they are uplifted.
  17. For blessings on the Grace Choir as they practice.
  18. For our Minneapolis Area Synod Assembly at St. Andrew Lutheran church in Eden Prairie, as they meet and make important decisions.
  19. For the new bride who is honored at a shower today; may Your blessings be upon the couple as they prepare for marriage and a new life together.
  20. For the Biblical Perspectives on Money class, that they grow spiritually and enjoy the social potluck.
  21. For You guidance with the Deo Glorias.  May they have good health and be inspired in song!
  22. For Your guidance and wisdom at the staff meeting today.
  23. For the time management and patience of all our mothers in the MOPS group.
  24. For the members of AA, that they feel the encouragement and support for each other as they meet their individual goals and overcome struggles.
  25. For our preschoolers and the staff as they show God's love and share the Light of His presence with each child.
  26. For all the Peace Market workers.  May this Peace Market be a success and an answer to the needs of many people who come to our church to shop.
  27. For each of our New Members.  May Word of Peace enrich their home life.
  28. For great weather so the Men's softball group can get together and enjoy a game and some fellowship.
  29. For a successful lunch at Sharing and Caring Hands; may the food and fellowship nourish the body and spirit of each in attendance.
  30. For God's inspiration to make music with our music groups:  Youth Bells, Angel Wings, and Voices of Peace as they rehearse this evening.  Bless the directors and accompanists!

This does

not get printed in our bulletins.

PRAYER CONCERNS

Prayers are printed on an insert in the weekly worship bulletin. It lists people in our congregation that may need strength, comfort, or positive thoughts to help them get through their hardship.
