Word of Peace: Vacation Bible School

We need fun, energetic, and loving people to help us make this the best week of our kids' summer. The following areas will need reallly committed people. Please contact Krisitn 763 496-2404 or Lisa 763 496-2405 to volunteer.

Bible Exploration Room--we need people who aren't afraid to be dramatic, outgoing, and fun in this room. These great people make the Bible story come alive for kids. Whether it having kids actually crawl in the belly of a whale, arranging for kids to be greeted by Jesus, or pretending to be a soldier these people make a room look, feel, and sound like the kids are actually entering the world of the Bible.

Game People--You have to love activity, kids, and fun to help us with this area. Bring your friends and be a game leader!

Craft People--VBS craft people teach the Bible story through hands on activities. We need people who aren't afraid of glue, mess, and fun for this room!

Snack People--Our VBS kids get hungry! We need people who love food, love to work with kids, and can connect the daily lesson through their food activity.

DVD Room--Do you love movies and the fact that they can teach all kinds of great stuff? Well, then the Chadder Chimunk Room is for you. Chadder tells all of our daily Bible lessons through a movie setting. Our DVD people use our movies to get kids to discuss the daily Bible points.

Worship/Music Room--Do you love music or playing music? Do you get all excited thinking about teaching kids great worship songs and putting on skits to teach kids about the daily lesson? This area is your calling! Bring your singing voice or instrument, put away your inhibitions, and let's go!

Preschool Leaders--Some people just have to be around those beautiful little bitty people! We need lots of these people to help organize daily activities just like the big kids only for little people. This room customizes its activities so that preschoolers will feel safe, happy, and loved.

CREW leaders--Crew leaders love kids, love being a cheerleader, know how to keep kids safe, and they are organized. CREW leaders take care of one group of 8-10 children for the whole week. CREW leaders make their group feel like a family and move their family from activity room to activity. CREW leaders participate in everything the kids do so be prepared to be active!
