Baptism is a sacrament and the beginning of the child's journey of faith.  Your Pastors want to make sure that the service for your child is special and that raising your child in the Christian Faith is helped and supported by your church.

Baptismal classes are required before your child is Baptized into the Christian Faith at Word of Peace.  If you have already attended a baptism class for another child, you do not need to attend again. Classes are generally held on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 pm.  See below for the tentative class schedule, Please contact the church office to confirm dates and register for a baptism class.

Child Baptisms are typically held during church services on Sundays and Mondays.  Due to time constraints, baptisms are usually not performed on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month, when there is Holy Communion.  Baptisms may be scheduled at noon on Sundays, depending on the Pastors' availability.

1. Name of Parents (First, Maiden, and Last)

2. Address

3. Phone

4. Name of Child (First, Middle, Last)

5. Date & Place of Birth  (mm/dd/yyyy) & hospital name

6. Name of Sponsors (First & Last)

7. Date of Baptism class you will attend (if necessary)

8. Do you need childcare, how many kids, and their ages?
