Fearless leaders
Dain has been at Word of Peace since the fall of 2004. He plays music, does video stuff and gets to hang out with cool people like Derek, Rick, Mari and the Youth Team. Rick has been at Word of Peace for who knows how long. His love and passions are youth and education. He has pioneered small groups and inspired Dain to grow his hair long. Aside from having 2 dogs, 3 kids, and one wife Rick likes to ski, jump on the trampoline and replace light switch covers for fun.

Mari Reed~ Youth Administrative Corridinator Mari has been with the youth department at Word of Peace since 2008. Her help in the office and presence with the youth of the congregation could be done by someone else, but we would most likely rather fly into a black hole than be without her. Mari loves a good laugh, blaring music in the youth office and hanging out with her husband, son and daughter whenever she can.
The Starting Line-up
Melissa is really excited to be on youth team again, and we are greatful to have her here with us again. She brings a lot to the group, like a nice big pontoon boat and mind control over her sister Mari. We couldn't survive with out her. Really. She has an awesome husband and two great kids. Heather Swanson was forced on the the youth team for a second time because she is married to the boss. Aside from that she loves working with youth, leads small groups, hangs out with them and helps with _tag as well. Thanks for all your time and help.
Rae is a trooper helping out with all kinds of youth programs and being our church council rep as well. Things she loves to do include spend time with her family, go on ReVamp, and help with lots of Middle School events. Thanks Rae!
Welcome to Shelli Lorman. This is her first year on Youth Team. Shelli has helped us with mission trips, youth events and keeping the pulse on the Junior Class. Shelli loves her family and hope that one day her singing career will take off. Thanks Shelli.
Welcome to Michelle. We are so excited to have Michelle with us this year. She brings tons of fresh new ideas and is really looking forward to finding out what really happens behind the big curtain call the youth room. We are glad you are with us.
Kim has grown up at Word of Peace and is still a youth at heart. She helps out with...well...everything, so it only makes sense that she on youth team. Other interests are working the sound board in worship, working at Cabella's and tripping over things. Kim you're awesome
Angie is back and better than ever! Aside from having two awesome kids and a great husband Angie loves to chaperone mission trips, go to ReVamp, and do whatever she can to keep herself out of trouble. Thanks Angie!
